Fight the Fright 2.0
The project builds on the success of the original Fight the Fright initiative and focuses on one of the most common barriers to personal and professional growth: fear of public speaking — especially in a foreign language.
Young adults across Europe, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, often struggle with:
- low self-confidence
- anxiety in public speaking
- weak verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- fear of speaking English in professional situations.
Fight the Fright 2.0 responds to this need by combining:
drama-based learning techniques
real-life communication simulations
face-to-face workshops
capacity building for adult educators

Trainer’s Booklet for Adult Educators
The project developed a comprehensive trainer’s booklet that equips adult education professionals with practical, drama-based methods to support young adults in overcoming fear of public speaking and improving communication in a foreign language. The booklet includes real-life scenarios and ready-to-use exercises and is available in multiple languages, enabling educators to apply innovative and engaging approaches in face-to-face learning contexts.

Fight the Fright 2.0 successfully delivered 12 interactive workshops across partner countries, engaging young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through experiential learning and simulated real-life situations, participants strengthened their verbal and non-verbal communication skills, increased self-confidence, and developed strategies to manage anxiety in public and professional settings.
Strengthened Competences and Modernised Practice
By combining structured learning resources with hands-on training, the project strengthened the competences of adult educators and contributed to the modernisation of adult education practices. The results support more inclusive, learner-centred approaches and enhance young adults’ employability, social inclusion, and readiness for the labour market.

The Adult Education Institution Dante is a competitive, modern and efficient institution that has been carrying out adult education programmes in Rijeka, Croatia, for 29 years. Dante attracts numerous generations of adult learners by offering quality educational programmes and courses (focusing on foreign language learning, intercultural communication, basic skills, teaching methods and approaches, transferable skills, entrepreneurship, conflict management) that respond to the needs of modern society and contribute to the development of adult education at the local, regional, and European level.
Institut für Internationale Bildungs- und Arbeitsmarktprojekte
INIBIA is a counseling body in the field of international education and labor market projects, with its executive managers having over 15 years of experience in international project management. The organization manages European networks and develops new approaches for education, training, and labor markets. In the past, INIBIA has been responsible for evaluating school and educational projects at regional, national, and European levels.

Didaxé Cooperativa Sociale a R.L.
Didaxè is a social cooperative focused on education and adult training. It operates as a training agency across three locations. In Turin, where it was founded, Didaxè provides vocational training programs and internships, mainly funded by Erasmus+. Caserta serves as the organization’s legal headquarters and management office, also offering a variety of courses to the local community. In Cellole, Didaxè manages the Officine Didaxé - Cellole Youth Centre, which has been active since 2020. This center offers cultural activities, courses, artistic workshops, and personal and professional development opportunities, primarily for local youth. Through these initiatives, Didaxè promotes education, growth, and social inclusion, empowering individuals and communities.
